CBD Capsules For Anxiety
CBD is a constituent of the cannabis plant and a potential therapeutic for cbd capsules for anxiety disorders. Compared to current pharmacotherapies, CBD is characterized by a lower risk of adverse effects and superior efficacy. However, clinical trials of CBD are limited. Preclinical studies using a variety of animal models of innate fear and anxiety-like behaviors have reported anxiolytic effects of CBD. These effects appear to be dependent upon CB1Rs and 5-HT1ARs. However, unlike THC and direct CB1R agonists, CBD does not induce anxiogenic effects at higher doses.
Which CBD tablets are best?
More than a dozen studies over 3 decades have shown that in lab animals, depending on the dose of CBD, it can reduce behavior that correlates with anxiety. More recent studies have tested CBD in people with anxiety and sleep problems. In one, CBD reduced people’s anxiety and improved their sleep in about 4 out of every 5 participants. But not all of the results have been positive. Some have found that CBD actually increases anxiety and others have not found that it improves sleep at all.
In other words, it’s important to talk with your doctor before trying any new supplement, including CBD, particularly if you are already taking medications for anxiety or depression. CBD may interact with some prescription drugs, and it’s also important to tell your doctor if you are using marijuana or other natural remedies. They can help you figure out how much CBD to take and how often. Generally, it’s recommended to start with a low dose (around 10 or 20 milligrams per day) and slowly increase it until you get the desired result.
