Toronto Weed Delivery Now Available Through UberEats

When it comes to toronto weed delivery, there are now more options than ever. Starting today, residents in Canada’s capital will be able to get legal cannabis delivered to their homes, thanks to a new collaboration between Uber Technologies (UBER) and the online cannabis marketplace Leafly. The app will allow consumers aged 19 and over to place orders from three local retailers, including Hidden Leaf Cannabis, Minerva Cannabis and Shivaa’s Rose.

Fast and Budget-Friendly Weed Delivery in Toronto

According to CBC News, the move marks the first time that a major third-party platform has offered cannabis for home delivery. The move could also be a sign of further strategic interest from big players in the industry in case federal marijuana law changes to permit such deals.

The arrangement is similar to food delivery, which took off during the COVID-19 pandemic. Consumers will use the UberEats app to order cannabis from their selected retailer, which will then dispatch staff certified under Ontario’s cannabis retail training program, CannSell, to deliver their purchase to shoppers, whose age and sobriety are verified on arrival.

Customers will be able to choose from a range of marijuana flower and other products, including edibles, THC vape juice, waxes, pre-rolls and more. The product assortment is expected to be expanded in the future, though details haven’t been released yet. Cannabis is known to produce a range of mental and physical effects, from euphoria and relaxation to an altered sense of time and space and an increase in appetite.
